ANCHIALO (written in Latin script as ANCHIALO) is the ancient name of the town of Pomorie. It is right here, in a modern facility on the shore of the Pomorie salt lake, that we produce our natural cosmetics with Black Sea lye and liman mud.

The name — a nod to history
Salt production, mud extraction and lye extraction in the area of the Pomorie and Burgas bays are the very reason towns appeared here in the first place. Thanks to its geographical location, natural surroundings and climate, Pomorie is often called the spa capital of the Balkan Peninsula. The properties of Pomorie lye and mud are known all over the world, and it is for them that thousands of visitors choose the town for a holiday, treatment and recovery. Traditionally, Russian-speaking and German-speaking guests know them best, but in recent years they have been growing ever more popular everywhere — and, to our delight, among Bulgarians themselves.
How we produce
All ANCHIALO products are made using a technology that preserves the valuable qualities of Black Sea lye — with no harmful chemical substances added. The lye is stabilised and filtered so that it retains its properties for a long time.

- therapeutic liman mud;
