Black Sea salt

AZIMUTH Bulgarian Black Sea table salt crystals, 120 g is harvested from the Black Sea at Pomorie.

The salt is obtained by evaporating sea water in the salt pans — a method used in Pomorie for centuries and presented in the town’s Salt Museum. During evaporation the salt crystallises first, and the saturated liquid that remains is precisely the Black Sea lye.

The salt retains the natural minerals of the sea and is used for cooking and at the table.

The products made with the lye from the same lake can be found in Pomorie lye.
