Intended Use:

For cosmetic procedures. Removes dead cells from the skin’s surface layer. Hydrates and cleanses the skin, increasing its elasticity. Trace elements and minerals penetrate the skin, providing a refreshing, relaxing, and toning effect on the entire body. Suitable for SPA, Wellness, balneology, physiotherapy and fitness centers, saunas, and home use.

Directions for use:

• Bath – pour 500-2,000 ml of the solution into 60-80 l of water at a temperature of about 38°C. The procedure lasts about 15-30 min, after which the body is rinsed thoroughly with water.
• Local baths – pour 150-200 ml into water in a suitable container so that it covers the ankles. Baths can also be made with pure lye without dilution. The procedure lasts 20-30 minutes and is particularly suitable for rheumatic pain in the ankles, as well as against nail fungus.
• Body rubs – rubbing the body with lye using a sponge. Rub the body with a sponge soaked in lye or a cotton cloth. The concentration depends on skin sensitivity, with a maximum ratio of 1:5 (lye:water). After 15-20 min, rinse the body thoroughly with water without using soaps or shower gels.
• Compresses – for aching joints, apply compresses with lye heated to 38-40°C in a water bath (do not heat the lye for people with hypertension). Soak a cotton cloth or towel in the lye and wrap the affected area twice, insulate with plastic or stretch wrap, and cover with a terry towel. Leave the compress on for 20-40 minutes once or twice daily. Recommended course: 12-14 procedures. Warning: For varicose veins, use unheated lye compresses.

Black Sea saltwort (also known as “Pomorie saltwort,” “Materna saltwort,” “natural salt marsh,” or “medicinal salt marsh”) is a natural product obtained during salt harvesting in the Burgas and Pomorie salt lakes, with a concentration of all the beneficial elements found in seawater and lake water that is many times higher than in seawater alone. In recent years, it has been produced exclusively in the Burgas salt pans. As the water evaporates from the salt pan, the brine remains above the salt layer as a cloudy, thick, oil-like liquid with a yellow-brown color and a reddish tint, and sometimes a pungent odor. According to numerous studies conducted over the years by scientists at the Institute of Medical Sciences (ISUL) and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), it has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic properties. Its qualities are identical to those of therapeutic liman mud. It is used for therapeutic, restorative, rehabilitative, and therapeutic procedures due to its content of minerals that are exceptionally valuable to the human body, with magnesium being the predominant component. When applied topically, Black Sea mud replenishes the body with magnesium and a number of other valuable minerals and substances, exerting a beneficial effect on muscle, joint, and bone structure. It has a relaxing, nourishing, and moisturizing effect on the skin. The trace elements and minerals penetrate the skin and have a refreshing and toning effect on the entire body.
