Anti-Cellulite Treatment – Professional Application

The treatment is a complex of several sub-procedures and is carried out in several stages, using different products. The stages can also be applied separately, but only completing all of them in the correct order delivers maximum results.

Preparatory stage.

For better penetration of the anti-cellulite gel and cream, a dry exfoliation is carried out before the treatment / with grated coconut fibre or with an exfoliating glove /mitt in the coarsest grade/. The aim is to remove the dead skin from the areas being treated so that the active ingredients can penetrate the skin more easily during the following stages of the anti-cellulite treatment.

Stage 1. Anti-cellulite massage with Le’Spa anti-cellulite gel with a warming effect

Rub the gel into the problem areas for 10 – 15 minutes. The gel contains an active ingredient derived from Brazilian pepper tree, which produces the warming effect on the massaged areas. It stimulates blood flow in these areas, warms the fatty deposits and releases the fluid from them. During the massage the skin becomes red, and this redness disappears after 10 minutes. Caution! The gel must not be used where varicose veins are present on the areas being treated. In such cases, an anti-cellulite oil without a warming effect is used instead of the gel.

Stage 2. Anti-cellulite massage with a mix of anti-cellulite cream and Le’Spa anti-cellulite gel

Mix equal amounts of gel and cream and massage in for 10 – 15 minutes. The anti-cellulite cream has a draining action, which helps its active ingredients, as well as those of the anti-cellulite gel, to penetrate more deeply.

Stage 3. Anti-cellulite massage with Le’Spa anti-cellulite cream

Massage the cream in for about 10 – 15 minutes.

Stage 4. Once the anti-cellulite massage is complete – it lasts 40 – 45 minutes in total – and the subcutaneous fatty deposits and other adipose accumulations have been broken down, fluid (fatty compounds) is released, which needs to be drawn out transdermally (through the skin). This is done with the firming body mask, which is a complex of French dental plaster and several types of silicone. The plaster is dissolved in water beforehand to form a paste. The mask is applied from edge to edge by hand or with a brush, and there are two methods of application:

First method (professional, recommended): Spread a sheet of plastic film on a flat surface, large enough to wrap around the area being treated. Apply the mask onto the film in a layer 3-4 mm thick, then spread a cloth over it – ideally TNT (non-woven fabric) with a weight of 70 g/m² – which has been soaked in water beforehand and wrung out well so that it is only slightly damp. The finished “sandwich” is then wrapped around the treated area (like a compress), with the plastic film on the outside and the cloth between the mask and the skin. After 20-30 minutes (or until the mask has set), the treatment is complete and the cloth, the mask and the film are gathered up and discarded, as they cannot be reused.

Second method (not recommended, non-professional, as it requires thorough cleansing of the body after the treatment): The mask is applied directly onto the treated area (a layer of about 3-4 mm) on the skin, or onto a sheet of plastic film large enough to wrap around the area being treated. The film is wrapped around the treated area, with the mask in direct contact with the skin, and you wait 20-30 minutes for the mask to set. Once the treatment is finished, the film and the hardened mask are carefully removed and discarded, as they cannot be reused.
